How to Delete Entries in Pokii

Pokii lets you delete any entry (shots or check-ins) if you need to make a correction.

Delete an Entry

1. Open the list where your entry appears (e.g., Dashboard, Calendar View, etc.).

2. Press and hold on the entry you want to remove.

3. A popup menu will appear — tap Delete.

4. Confirm, and the entry will be removed.

Why Not Swipe-to-Delete?

We tested swipe-to-delete early on, but the experience wasn’t ideal. Even though there was a confirmation step, the red delete action would appear while simply scrolling through entries, which made the interface feel less clean. There’s also a chance of swiping quickly and ending up in a confirmation dialog you didn’t mean to trigger. And since deleting entries is pretty rare, it seemed like a good idea to keep things simple — long-press with a confirmation keeps the UI tidy and ensures deletions are always intentional.
